As I received an iTunes voucher for Chirstmas, I decided late on last night to explore the dreaded and tempromental iTunes store...Took me ages to find some stuff, but here is what I bought:
Keane - Spiralling, ok at first I thought Keane's new album Perfect Symmetry was just perfect symmetry of a pile of shit, I really hated it, but now it's very very slowly growing on me. Spiralling is a bizzare song to say the least, it really makes no sense. Not that the lyrics don't make sense, just the whole structure of the song, however it is weirdly addicting.
The Corrs - Summer Sunshine, from probably my third favourite band of all time, this is a brilliant song which has found it's way onto my: Top rated playlist on iTunes. At first seems a really jubilant summery song, but as Andrea Corr points out the lyrics tell quite a different story. Anyway, a really great song and good to sing along to.
Guillemots - Falling Out Of Reach, from a band I'm not too familliar with, but wow, a really quite beautiful song. Helped a great deal in finishing a chapter in my book and has a very cool music video with Ian McKellen in, very much reccomended.
Finally, a song which is quite simply called: Main Titles, due to the fact it is just the theme tune from Band of Brothers, much like the series, a very moving and inspirational song.
GOODBYE EVERYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!

2009...Which feels just like 2008
Did I have a fun filled New Years eve? Well kind of, me and S realised at about half ten that we were the only two online and had our own weird sorta MSN party, better than nothing I suppose.
So 2009, actually quite looking forward to it, some aspects anyway. Lost series 5 out January 25th and Peep Show series 6 should be out around March, of course there's the Ashes 2009 (there was a two hour special on the Ashes last night on sky, calm down everyone, it's still over 6 months away) and then there's the Twenty20 world cup in England, that should be fun.
Hopefully this year I should finish the first draft of my book and after April 29th I can go and buy myself some lottery tickets, cannot wait.
And if I'm lucky around about July time I can become a well qualified British citizen, though as I repeatedly tell my Mother, I am not getting a job, I refuse. The government can lob all their benefit plans at me, I don't care, they can't make me do anything, I've researched this, I have rights Mr Brown.
There's also a chance I might see Oasis live this year and maybe even release Bejaminadom's first single, if that's a good thing?
Of course there's E, a new cricket season where I might be moving clubs and another year of mocking Ian Bell.
I expect once the exams are over the year will pick up a bit, so like last year, June onwards should be good and everything before will be...Ok (I hope).

2008 - A review
Firstly let me start by saying, congratulations to South Africa for winning the test match in Melbourne, making it the first time Australia have lost at home since 1992..RIP Australian cricket.
So, last day of 2008, wow. Well over the next few minutes, I hope to inform you, the reader, on all the major events of this year concerning me in a false yet some what beleivable philosophy that you happen to be interested.
Well, January, I don't think much happened in January, certainly my journal is almost empty, I wrote FUCK OFF over one page covering two weeks, so we will just assume that January was poor and the year had got of to it's typically shambolic start.
February, again, nothing much happened, same with March...So let's just skip to April, well it was my Birthday...Though that happens every year, err...Oh I got an iPod, which I can safely say has changed my life, mostly for the better.
Around about May/June the cricket season for me got underway, this year being slightly more suuccesful than previous years, no massive injuries and I did acheive my highest score so far, that being a majestic 54.
About this time, I thought I was in love, but that ended with a series of dissapointments.
In May I started Jack Beckett, my novel about a man weirdly simmilar to myself, this has taken over far too many hours this year, yet I love doing it and it's good to break away from Sci-fi novels concerning black holes and the damnation of the human race.
Around about July, I became hugely obsessed with Oasis, I always liked them before, just now started buying Oasis cd's, not quite sure what brought it on, but glad it happened.
July 31st, one of the best day's of my life, saw England V South Africa at Edgbaston. Was a great day out, despite England loosing, seeing my favourite players for real was quite something.
So along came September, a predictably dull start to the year, nothing really happening, there was a rather nasty incident concerning a nutter, but thankfully I cleared that up remarkably well. It was about late September though, that I thought I might be in love with E, however, I decided back then to try and block this out as much as possible, pretend it wasn't happening and move on. This failed...(Thank God).
Mid-October I couldn't really help myself and told her in what ranks quite high in my list of: most terrifying moments of my life. A few weeks later, we started a relationship and I've been unusally happy ever since. Despite the fact I still moan about nearly everything and care about cricket a little too much, I owe it to her for making this year the best since...since...err...since...2000, I dont think in 2000 I really had a care in the world.
Well there you go, that brings us up to the present day, tomorrow I will write out what I want or expect to happen for New Year.
Thank you and goodbye,
Tom,
Bands I paticuarly enjoyed this year: Oasis, Muse, The Corrs,
Cricketers I now hate: Graeme Smith, Mitchell Johnson, Ian Bell (sorry Bell I know you try).
Random tv series I discovered and enjoyed: Survivors, Band of Brothers, IT crowd, Scrubs, Peep Show (best sitcom ever).
Quoations I remember from the year: 'Well Seb...Your just a...A fucking tree,'-Me,
'We can get some fighter jets to fire conkers,' - S,
'No, I'm not out Tom, I'm staying here and there's nothing you can do about it,' - Campbell,
'Tom, that's not a very convincing Badger,' - McHenry.
'The French...Aren't they the ones who love noodles?' - My American chum

Let it FAKE SNOW!!!!!!!!!!
I'm happy. Was really pissed off and depressed this morning, but I've decided to forget about that now.
Earlier I found PREMIER FAKE SNOW SPRAY!!!!!!! Which then led to me and H patrolling around town spraying various things, we wrote LOL on the road, sprayed a couple of trees...Oh and attacked a bench, admitedlly we were a little hyper.
Then got back and made a sketch about Brian and Ted, two Flight Simulator addicts.
But tomorrow afternoon, (well hopefully tomorrow afternoon it might end up being Christmas Eve due to something concerning my Father's work,) I'm going back to Edinburgh, HOORAH!!! Where it might even snow, according to extremly unreliable sources anyway. But I can't wait to see my Grandparents and various good chums.
Other news, me and a couple of others are hopefully going to see Oasis live around July time (can't wait!!!!).
Anyway I must do some work on my book.
I probably won't be able to write anything in this blog until Sunday at the earliest when I get back, so goodbye everyone.
Lastly, Merry Christmas to all,
Tom,
P.S: Oh and E, if I don't speak to you before, hope you have a good Christmas, will miss you.

I'm feeling supersonic, give me gin and tonic,
I never used to like 'Supersonic,' but it's turned out to be one of those songs which has grown on me. Bit like...Chasing cars and just all of Socuting for girl's work.
Today, got an AMAZING pen from E, it changes bloody colour!!!!! And my favourite chocolate Galaxy, finally some decent chocolate, sorry, no offence, but I'm getting a bit sick (literally) of chocolate buttons.
I also went home at a CRAZY time...Well only an hour and twenty behind when I usually go back, but that's enough to shake up my beloved routine and make me feel light headed. Of course there is a reasoning behind this, that being it's the last day of term 2008...Woah, scary stuff.
The holiday's have got of to an unexpectedly exciting start, me and Campbell playing a Cricket 07 match against South Africa...Christ it was tense, went down to the last ball, 2 needed from 1 delivery, then Mother walks across screen blabbering away about something vaguely important!!??!?!?!?! Me and Campbell both remained remarkably calm, just went up to our rooms in complete silence much to the bewilderment of my Mother.
Will the remainder of the holiday's be like this? Well probably not, apart from Scotland, the possibility of seeing E at some point and of course Christmas, the majoirty of my time will be spent in solitude. Mainly writing, revising, dreaming about scoring majestic hundreds for Hampshire etc...
But it is Christmas soon, very soon in fact, I can't tell you how far away it is BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GOT AN ADVENT CALENDAR!!!!
Do I have any plans/goals concerning the working aspect of 2009? Well not really, just want to secure my GCSE'S and if possible a place on the school cricket team.
Time for me to go,
BYE BYE!!!

Thursday 18th December 2008...Yeah....I'll admit to not being so great at this title business
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! Have got terrible writer's block, I decided I would aim to finish my book by Christmas a few months back, that's looking extremely unlikely. Not that I need to finish it by Christmas, I have years, would be nice to finish though. It's not that I don't know what to write, it's more how to write it, everything I type seems so shit, this paticular chapter is vital for the whole series and I really want it to work.
Chocolate...So much chocolate, I've eaten loads of the stuff recently, my stomach is beginning to complain, an entire sack of golden coins, two slices of chocolate cake and about a thousand chocolate buttons...All in the past half an hour.
Blimey, last week of term, so a constant stream of videos, what did I get today? The Pianoist and then a Beautiful Life, fine yeah, brilliant films and yes I think everyone should watch them, especially the Pianoist, but it's Christmas for God sake, do I really have to watch Hollocaust films at Christmas?
However, I did get to see E at lunch today which was great and England are playing tonight, so shouldn't complain.........But will, I hate Christmas cards with glitter in them, you open them up and the stuff just falls out everywhere, 'What you doing this Christmas?'...'Well HOOVERING!'
BYE EVERYONE!!!...I say everyone, who reads this?

MY BROTHER ATTACKED SOMEONE
As the title reveals, my brother attacked someone.
Moving on, isn't the Bible an odd book? I hate the way it's all full of riddles and just plain nonsense, sorry but Genesis is simply weird, talking bloody snakes and apples of evil...It's ridiculous.
What happened today?....Ok well school was a bit of a drag, apart from ICT, where I discovered DOODLE...A crazy little game where you control a grinning hyper active man with a sword who jumps around various platforms murdering rubber men.
So yes my dear brother punching someone for abusing his perfectly ordinary name (Campbell), I'm not sure if I support him in his decision to punch them though. He could have just found some way to out-wit them, but ah well, been playing Cricket 07 with him for over two hours now. Currently going through one of our getting along with each other really well phases, which will hopefully last out to Christmas.
Urg....Last few days I've been eating so much chocolate, I need to stop this, though I'm not really running any danger of turning fat all of a sudden, if anything I need to eat more.
Christmas holiday's coming up, do I have anything planned? Well I'm going up to Edinburgh to stay with my Grandparents, where I will be able to see some dear old chums and annoy them ever so much with my accent. Must help a traumatized friend who's girlfriend attacked him with a knife quite recently, he wasn't hurt and I think he might have been exagerating it slightly, but still it would only ever happen to him...I hope anyway. Oh Edinburgh, how I miss thee, the 1 o'clock cannon, Portobello beach, Arthur's mount...
GOODBYE EVERYONE!!!!!
